Ideal Location
The cross-country ski trail network of Kleinarl-Wagrain starts directly at the hotel and leads from here to Jägersee or all the way to Wagrain.
This adventure mountain is a real highlight for children and only a 5-minute drive away. Adventure stations, climbing opportunities and adventure trails make it a truly special holiday experience.
Wasserwelt Wagrain is only a 7-minute drive from the Botenwirt. With your guest card, you enjoy free admission all day in summer and three hours per day in winter.
The Flying Mozart gondola starts directly at Kirchboden in Wagrain (10 minutes by car) and is included in the 12 Peaks Adventure Card.
Around 230 km of marked hiking trails partly start right at the hotel. From easy family walks to challenging mountain hikes – there is something for everyone.
The bus stop is located directly at the hotel. In winter, the ski bus stops after one station (500 meters) directly at the valley station of the Shuttleberg. There are also connections to Wagrain, St. Johann im Pongau train station and Jägersee.

In summer, our free childcare for all children aged 3 and over takes place here, just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel – including lunchtime supervision and lunch at the Botenwirt.
The climbing world offers a high ropes course and several via ferratas with different levels of difficulty, as well as a flying fox with exciting zip lines. It is only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel.
The ski area is easily accessible via the beginner lift or the ski bus. From the Shuttleberg, there is a direct connection to Wagrain via the Panorama Link.
Everything you need is close by: supermarket (Spar), bank and doctor with in-house pharmacy – all just a few minutes’ walk away.
Schernthaner Sports & Intersport Hauser are both located directly at the valley station and offer equipment rental for summer and winter sports. Both have an affiliated ski school and are only one bus stop away.
One of the highest mountain lakes in the Alps. The hiking trail starts at Jägersee or Schwabalm and leads through light forest and moderately steep switchbacks up to the lake.
Jägersee at the end of the Kleinarl valley is a popular excursion destination for the whole family. A 6 km hiking trail leads directly from the hotel to the lake. It can be walked around in 20 minutes on an easy path. It is also easily accessible by the free bus.
